When considering adopting a pet, there are several important factors to keep in mind to ensure a successful and fulfilling experience. Firstly, one must carefully assess their lifestyle and living situation to determine the type of pet that would best suit their needs and schedule. It is crucial to consider the time and effort required for training, exercise, grooming, and overall care that each pet demands. Additionally, potential pet owners should think about their long-term commitment and readiness to provide love, attention, and proper veterinary care for their new furry friend throughout its entire life, which could be anywhere from 10-20 years. It is vital to understand the weight of responsibility that comes with pet ownership. It's essential to be patient, understanding, and dedicated to building a strong bond with your new pet, offering them a forever home filled with love and care. Remember, adopting a pet is a rewarding journey that can bring immense joy and companionship into your life, so take your time to make a well-informed decision and create a lasting bond with your new furry family member!

PLEASE NOTE - If you live in town, we do require a fenced yard or some form of secure containment for dogs and that you understand your local by-laws. For certain dogs we will also have this requirement even if you are in the country. There are occasional exceptions but they are rare. If you have questions regarding this policy, please inquire.
YOUNG DOGS
Harley (Black)
Male - 7 months
Alberta Special - siblings with Sage
He is a super friendly guy who loves to cuddle! He really, truly loves his people and will become your shadow. He is becoming more and more confident. He loves to go on long walks and is the learning basic household manners in a foster home
Sage (Brindle)
Female - 7 months
Alberta Special -siblings with Harley
Sage has grown to be a super confident, happy girl!
Sage loves to go for long walks and is really good on the leash. She loves her toys and is constantly on the move. An active family is a must for her! She loves other dogs and is very interested in the cats - but not in an aggressive way. We think with some time and training she could live harmoniously with a feline friend.
ADULT DOGS
Booty
Male- 2 years old
Akita cross
Booty was in an accident before he came to us, which left him with a very bad broken leg, but with lots of time and patience he is fully healed. Due to his accident he developed some trust issues, but every day is growing more and more confident. He is always bouncing off the walls with energy, so an active home is a must for this sweet boy. He gets along with cats! I wouldn't say they are his favourite thing in the world, but he puts up with them. He can be selective with other dogs.
Booty will need a very understanding family that will continue to work with him. But if you take a chance on this amazing boy we promise you will never not be smiling around him.
